I conduct the majority of the training out of a private airport community where I live. It is called Eagles Nest (2TS6). Some of the databases, such as the Anywhere Map, will show private strips like mine; others will not. It is however, on the Dallas/Fort Worth chart. I sometimes travel to other locations when three or more trainees get together and share my travel expenses. I will fly with all them over a two day period. We do not practice pattern work at Eagles Nest; we use various public airports in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area for that part of the training. There are several hotels nearby. Average cost is $53-$55 for a single and $62-$65 for a double.
